Today we considered going to see Mt. Rainier, but it got rainier as we passed Rainier, so we went and got icecream and went home instead.

Rochester has some nice farms, though. A few too many blackberries sprawling along the river to get close to it where we were, but nice even in the rain.

it sounds like you're having a pretty sweet time. hope you're enjoying the weather, its ridiculously cold here. got to -3 last night.

Here it's 17° - I don't envy you.
A bit of rain is fine.

The blackberries aren't quite ripe here (though the ones wolfwitch and I picked down in Kentucky were awesome), and they're very spiky indeed. But the ones along the riverbank were free, at least :-)
