*nod* I think one of the major reasons for their declaring a state of emergency was to free up some funds to deal with stuff.
No generator that I remember, but there is a fireplace, at least. That probably means she's holed up in the den with the furkids and keeping warm as best she can. I feel a little better knowing that I helped collect and stack firewood when I was there, even if I can't be there now.
