Must have been fallout from the Antarctic blast that made my Saturday night so joyous and eventful. Nice if you like skiing, I suppose.
Hmm. Have you ever been in a situation where two people are talking at cross purposes, and one person is over-analysing everything the other says, trying to find out what they're implying when they say something, when in fact they're not implying anything at all and are just saying something to be read at face value? I have.
I've was in a relationship like that once before, and it hurts. Partially from old memories, and partially because I can see a friendship going the same way. Argh. It's even worse when they keep saying "never mind" or "just forget it", just after saying something you can't help but remember, and you do mind.
Y'know, it's almost like you've been semi-accused of something; you know that's what they're thinking, but they've decided to try to retract it because they can't make the charge stick, or something. I hate feeling like that.
