Because Kimeros is bossy.
Feb. 3rd, 2004 09:26 pmI've been meaning to update this for a while, but haven't quite got around to it.
So, stuff:
There's a possibility I might be getting a scholarship this year. Early days yet, but it seems someone might be interested enough in the kind of research I'm doing to pay for it. This could mean that I get more done this year, due to not having to play hurry-up-and-wait quite so much with web development clients to make ends meet. Huzzah. I'm also hoping to get some tutoring work, which could assist things greatly, and give me something to get me to university regularly so I'm not tempted to slack off.
This meme is currently doing the rounds:
"Post anything that you want, and post it anonymously. Anything. A story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love -- anything. Be sure to post anonymously and honestly. Post more than once, if you'd like. Then, put this in your LJ to see what your friends (and perhaps others who you don't even realise read your LJ) have to say."
I'm dubious about it - I'd prefer that people just said stuff to my face. But hey, if you wanna, go for it. If you feel like doing so non-anonymously, that's better. IP logging is on by default on my journal, but I'm not going to be lookin' unless someone out there either (a) is horribly abusive in a Violating-LiveJournal-Terms-Of-Service kinda way, or (b) you're declaring your undying lust/love/reallyreallylike for me.
Why? Because I always (more times than I've had girlfriends) get shit like that pulled on me when it's too late to do anything about it, or they then turn around and pull the whole "I don't want to ruin our friendship"/"I love you like a brother"/"I just met this really great guy and it's True Love even though he treats me like shit" routine when I return their sentiments. It's bloody frustrating and makes me feel like crap, kthx.
Oh, and I still don't care about Janet Jackson's norks, or American football.
