Okay, I've finally got some details about the premiere of the short martial arts film that I co-starred in1 a couple of months back.
Final Fight2 is going to be screening to the public on the evening of Sunday the 26th of September - that's this Sunday - playing with two other films: Mia (romance and hired killers, now with Extra Added Bleak™) and One Way Ticket (which I don't know much about yet).
The cost at this stage is likely to be $25 (hooray for covering venue costs), but if I can find enough people interested I might be able to organise a discount. So if you're in Christchurch this weekend, and you feel like seeing how I nearly got my fingers chopped off a few times, accidentally made the director cough up real blood and other fun things besides, let me know :-)
[1] - Along with Brad (who also wrote and directed it, and was pictured in the press release for that Star Fury trailer/pilot thing), Jason (who some of the AnimeTribe people might know as Hadoken), and Dennis (who some of you may remember from such prior works as: Working in Comics Compulsion for quite a long time, Being the long-haired variety Dennis, not
5monkeys and Going out with my sister for quite a while, and who recently graded as brown belt and won several national titles in Shotokan karate - congrats!).
[2] - No relation of the old video game of the same name, and previously known by the working title Dojo Yaburi 2.
