Apr. 11th, 2007 11:18 pmFor those who missed it, the MiG-21 Fishbed parked downtown on Lichfield Street in Christchurch:

It was apparently supposed to be put on top of some club that's opening up or something, but it got delivered early - on April 1st. Heh.
If MiG fighter jet up on blocks outside bar, Soviet redneck just might be YOU!
*ahem*
In other news, I have a new phone (Motorola RAZR v3) that can take photos. But I can't connect it to my home PC because the driver disc and software (bundled with a USB cable for $50) won't install on Win98SE. Despite claiming that it can. Time for a new computer, methinks.
I think my chances of getting Java apps running on it might be slim too, despite it having MIDP, because the data transfer stuff seems to be buttoned tight for no good reason other than allowing someone to gouge a bit more for the service. Sigh.
