The current state of things with respect to the U.S. and the rest of the world has had me thinking. No doubt you've probably heard all the various arguments pro and con a million times by now. I'm not going to give you that again - at least, not directly.
I've been listening to too much of the wrong kind of music recently, and got inspired to write something. If it seems somewhat disjoint in style, well, blame too much Skinny Puppy and early Project Pitchfork, and it being somewhere after 2 in the morning. It's rough and unready, somewhat lyrical, and probably quite oversimplifies the point - but then, some would say the same of certain news services ;-)
So, have some late-night shouty pseudo-lyrical rambling, should you wish it.
Our defense is in the spirit which prized liberty as the heritage of all men, in all lands everywhere. Destroy this spirit and you have planted the seeds of despotism at your own doors.
