I get offended when they paint letters on mountains around here. I nearly vomited over the big controversy we had about "A Mountain" (or, as it's really called, Sentinel Peak) and the debate in city counsil as to whether to paint the giant gaudy "A" on the side of it red white and blue. The sollution? The city counsil members who were for it snuck up there in the middle of the night and painted it when no one was looking. Then police patrols were put in place to protect their vandalism from farther vandalism.
Apparently, however, we got off light. At least no one sprayed an advertisment for Dawsons Creek on the San Xaiver del Bac mission or anything.
