Everyone doing HCI cites Fitts. Not everyone cites him with the full journal name, volume, number, page numbers, year and month, though. I had to pull apart several other people's citations and visit the APA website to get all that, though. For extra cool points, I've also cited an appropriate paper from 1897. 1897 - in a Computer Science thesis. Hah!
I'm starting to make typos though, so I think it's probably time for at least a nap now.
On my to-do list currently is:
- Track down some more food, just in case my body feels like misbehaving after all this Think
- Find a pretty/clear way of presenting preference rankings (i.e. rank these four things from 1-4)
- Transcribe an A4 summary page of questionnaire observations
- Take a couple of photos, and make some pretty pictures
- Make sure I have properly explained... no, there is too much. Make sure I have summed up everything succinctly in my conclusion.
...and then I'll have a finished thesis. Draft. That I can spend a couple of days proofreading.
And then print! And submit! Yay!
