Thesis due tomorrow!

So I printed it out, got it bound and submitted it today.

Yay!

Now time for rest and recuperation.

P.S.: What do people who don't have a thesis to submit do with life, again? I forget.

Watch your health. A lot of people get nasty colds right after submitting. Also, avoid mixing a hip flask of rum with a bottle of scrumpy cider, which is what I did after submitting my MA.

Then started a tutoring job. I recommend taking a good long break - I melted down three months later.

I'm recommencing tutoring on Wednesday, and have a lecture to give the week after. I certainly won't be taking on too much right away, though; I'm self-aware enough to know that my body needs to have a break.

Are they anything like Conga Eels?

The thesis title is: Large Scale Display Interaction Techniques to Support Face-to-Face Collaboration - in other words, building an 80" multi-touch interactive screen, and conducting a paired user study to compare how well it worked (or how people worked with it) versus various other conditions (single-touch, multi-mouse and physical cards stuck to the screen). Along the way I also accidentally spawned another chapter by writing a visualisation and classification tool to take some of the donkey work out of my video analysis
