No matter how bored, and no matter how tempting, don't let an online discussion about the meaning of "the true meaning of Easter" devolve into debating the laundry list of Christianity's crimes against humanity with a member of "Paganism". Especially one who says that Pagans who do antisocial and egotistical things are "absolutely NOT Pagans" because that would go against the Pagan Creed.

Tomorrow, I think I shall write about mobile phones, why can't post photos from my new phone just yet. Which is a pity, because I've got a lovely shot of the MiG-21 that looks like it's stuck in traffic on Lichfield Street, and have had a haircut.

I have very strong views on the matter but I honestly don't think there's an awful lot of point in this discussion happening between Christians and Pagans because it's never going to go well!
People inevitably resort to 3 year old reasoning and then mud slinging, with this kind of argument, so I try to stay out of it these days.

I mean, Jesus went and had a passover seder (which is what the Last Supper was) - and if you know your Protocols you'll know that involved eating this strange cracker-like bread which is made with the blood of good christian boys (which is white because they're so pure, and that's how come the bread isn't all red). Then he died. THEN a few centuries later everyone was pissed at not getting a holiday like the jews, so they decided to invent one around the same time and commemorate punishment and torture by eating chocolatified representations of fertility.

I just returned from a pagan festival.

Most pagans take themselves far too seriously, and could learn a thing or two from Christians about a) ritual making and b) having a sense of humour about themselves.

Also, religious tolerance.

Do you have a cool phone like mine that has a flash memory card and USB connection to a computer but you can't figure out how to make the computer recognise it so you can download the images to your computer from the phone?
I do! I got tired of uploading them to the telecom gallery, logging in to there then saving them to hdd from there so I just bought a little SD card reader thing. Such a hassle.

The driver disc says it works on Win98SE, and then when I tried to install stuff it said I didn't have the right operating system. Fiends.
