It's 20°C now - quite a bit cooler than when I arrived. Still only 9a.m., but I seem to have pulled a Crowded House and taken the weather with me to some extent.

Though drier, it feels a little bit like a cooler day when holidaying in Pauanui on the Coromandel Peninsula when I was young. Warm enough for comfort, overcast but not oppressively so.

I need to get a bigger memory card for my digital camera at some point (a Canon SX-100). It ships with a pitiful one. I think I'll have to set myself up with Picasa, also. And get spare batteries and a charger.

I feel like walking on the beach, then coming home for lunch with my grandparents with lots of light, summery foods.

Yah... LA is pleasant with all the sea moisture and then it burns off and the temperature suddenly jumps after noon. It's quite interesting.
