Made it to Lexington fine in the end, albeit around six hours after I was supposed to. I was lucky, though - if I hadn't connected via O'Hare, I wouldn't be here at all. The later direct flight to Lexington got cancelled when someone crashed the air bridge into the plane and damaged it, so everyone else who was waiting had to get put up in a motel for the night.

Of course, my luggage was still there too. It finally turned up around 1p.m. today, so the lovely [livejournal.com profile] wolfwitch and I drove down to the airport to collect it, rather than risk all the things that could go wrong with couriering two suitcases nine miles.

It's up to 100°F (37.7°C) out there, so I think now might be a good time for lazing around the house. We do like this air conditioning thing.

Air conditioning is awesome. I used to go barefoot to the grocery store and just bask in the joy that was the freezer section ;)

When's your flight getting in up here so I can plan things? :)
