Saw wolves today. Made it to Seattle. Staying at a place called the Green Tortoise. Meeting a pirate next to a pig at the market tomorrow, and then I figure out what else I can do while I'm here.

Nope, just Washingtong state. The pig is bronze, the wolves are sleepy, and the pirate is tall with spiky hair.

Instead, we are meeting at a dockside market where they throw fish around.

Please go to Archie McPhee in Ballard. I think the numer 43 bus will get you there. Also, visit Fremont (sort of on the way) and find Lenin and the Troll under the bridge that's eating a VW Bug.

Fremont is the 'centre of the universe' don'tcha know.

Did you go to Wolf Haven, by chance? That place is wicked. I went there and all the wolves howled in unison. Spine-tingling.

Yep, that's where I went - not at a howl-in, but it was nice to meet the locals (and not-so-locals) there :-) I shall put some photos up at some point, when I can - that may wait until I'm back in NZ.

I've heard good things about Archie's, and visited their web presence a few times. Seems like a really fun place. May have to put that on the to-do list if I get to make another visit here :-)
