Aug. 20th, 2009 12:14 amI've currently got Unknown Origins podcasts on shuffle again while I do some reading, and I came across this track. Swedish music, Japanese director. May not be suitable to watch for those who squick easily, especially about surgical things. For everyone else, it's... interesting. Reminds me a bit of the Tokyo Plastic Drum Machine animation in some ways - palette as much as anything. Somewhere between that, Hellraiser, 8-bit platformers and infographic land. Suits the music well, in any case.

Date: 2009-08-20 01:29 pm (UTC)Anyway, one of my favouritest bands ever. It's well worth getting their albums (there's three of them, plus a film soundtrack), mindblowingly brilliant stuff. The singer also has a solo album under the name of Fever Ray which is similarly good.
AND while I'm having this rant, you should also check out Zeigeist who are stylistically similar and also have great videos. Case in point:
