I woke up today and my front lawn and fence was missing. It's an interesting way to start the day.
At least I managed to find where they put the mailbox.

Vehicles, certainly, but I don't think there was drinking. Our landlord's removing the front lawn/garden/fence to put a garage there, so we have somewhere to put cars when he extends his garage. (He lives in the property behind ours.)

I knew it might happen eventually, but didn't have an indication as to just when it'd happen. Still a bit of a surprise to suddenly see a large chunk of bare dirt when I looked out the window. Still, at least there's still a park across the road.

On an unrelated note, I see from your profile you're going to Shippensburg University. A former flatmate of mine here in New Zealand is from PA, and went there before attending my university. Small world :-)

I could imagine drunks taking a fence, but not a lawn, this had me slightly baffled for a bit there.

With the right motivation, it appears that men in hard hats and orange safety vests will also take a fence. Sod if I know whether they took the lawn as well.
