Got to Wellington safely. It's interesting being in a city with a Z-axis. I can see why Wellingtonians get lost in Christchurch.

I'm currently sitting at the back of the lecture theatre with two people leeching power off the powerboard I brought along (extra plugs good!) and someone's iPhone connected to my USB. Ahh, geeks.

Presentations so far are surprisingly interesting for a Tuesday morning.

What are you doing Thursday night? Have you heard about Thursday Night Curry (TNC)? It's a weekly curry meet-up of a bunch of Wellington IT people (and others). Was thinking I might actually be able to go this week (for the first time in ages). Are you interested in coming along?

Hmm. I have a Computer Science Education Workship from 4pm-6pm. I'm still trying to figure out whether some people I was supposed to meet up with (and give a book to) are in fact available. It is very tempting, though. And it'd be good to catch up, of course :-)

Well, TNC is at about 7.30. Food is ordered at 8pm, once people have hopefully all arrived. There is also BBC (beer before curry) @ JJ Murphy's that goes from whenever people turn up (6ish) until curry time.
