A friend recently recounted on Facebook that he had a dream where Leonard Cohen had written a sequel to Blade Runner. As these things do, it got me to filking:

Everybody knows that the lifespan's limited
Everybody knows that Gaff was there.
Everybody knows that you dream of unicorns
Everybody knows that you live in fear.
Everybody knows that it's time to die;
You lose your memories in the falling rain, as each teardrop flows...
Just like everybody knows.
