So, New Zealand has had controversy with PM John Key and the selling off of state assets. Someone on the Facebooks did a "Now you're just some assets that I used to own" macro image, and I ended up writing this for the hell of it:

You can get addicted to a certain kind of taxes
Like resignation in the end, always the end
So when you found that we could not make sense
Well you made your vote no confidence
But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over

But you didn't have to boo me down
Make it like we had no mandate and that we were nothing
I don't even need your vote
But you treat me like a banker and it feels so rough

No, you didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect their signatures
And in record numbers
Guess that I don't need that though
