Profile update

Because I hadn't updated it in such a long time (and because I'm not feeling up to going out on this fine night, unfortunately), I thought I ought to give my LiveJournal user profile a bit of an update. So, now you have a new bio, my MSN handle that I only ever use through Trillian (though if you've got MSN Messenger, you can add me on that too), and a bunch of extra interests that I felt like throwing in there. I see I have four that are unique. Muaha.

Speaking of which, there seems to be a fair number of people reading my journal who I don't believe I actually know (at least under your LiveJournal guises). Would any of you care to come forward and introduce yourselves..? I promise I won't bite, unless you ask particularly nicely.

Ahhh.. introduction.

A short while ago, ubermeg was kind enough to hook me up with an invitation code [a pretty cool thing to do considering that she has no idea who I am, and that I just randomly emailed her asking for a code after noticing that her sig on the NZGothboard has a link to her lj]

Soon after setting up my journal and officially jumping on the Livejournal bandwagon, I was jumping my way through a few peoples' friends lists, stumbled upon your journal and decided that I would like to read it. I'm fond of your style of writing.

I feel as though I should tell you something about myself [as is generally the purpose of introductions, I suppose], but there's not a helluva lot to say [or rather, I've no idea what you might like to know]. Anyway, here's a bit of a brief: I'm a design student, idealistic, vegetarian, pro-choice, agnostic, a dreamer, caffeinated, music-addicted, a bit of a greenie [muahaha], a hopeless bookworm and slightly neurotic.

So there you go.

The world is a scarily small place at times, and things like LiveJournal only make it smaller. Hi there :-) I've heard your name before at least (both Lhizz and Artemisia), even if I've never actually met you. Hooray for interlocking circles of friends!

I haven't been back to alt.gothic in ages I think I may have stopped following when I got working and the Convergence season was upon us again, and just haven't really been back. I may have to pop in and see who's still about, some time.
