My first try was Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. Top three unsuggestions:
* The purpose driven church : growth without compromising your message & mission by Rick Warren
* The wounded healer; ministry in contemporary society by Henri J. M. Nouwen
* Passion and purity : learning to bring your love life under Christ's control by Elisabeth Elliot
Given the whole Infocalypse/L. Bob Rife church thing, they seem like interesting counterpoints.
On the other hand the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac trade paperback by Jhonen Vasquez has unsuggestions of Deception Point by Dan Brown, The Pelican Brief by John Grisham and Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon.
I find myself wondering how much difference there would be between a suggestions list for a book, and the unsuggestions-of-unsuggestions list. It could be an interesting way to branch out into books which are not especially similar but maybe in some way co-aligned to your current reading tastes.
(The "current music" is very Snow Crash, in a Swedish Industrial Rock kind of way.)
