Sep. 13th, 2008 04:44 amThank you, one and all, for your congratulations and well-wishings about the engagement announcement. There were so many of you that thanking each of you personally would be quite an undertaking, so I'll just add it to this post :-)
I went to Dan and Tina's wedding at the Old Stone House today, which was quite lovely. The weather was a little drizzly to start with, but cleared up in time for the ceremony.
Things are moving along work-wise. I've got a few bits of contract work to keep me busy for now, and more possibly on the way. Still waiting to hear back about some scholarship opportunities, but there's every chance we'll be able to sort something out eventually.
One game project I'm working on at the moment is running to a fairly short timeframe, but I've been quite enjoying some of the design aspects. It's a relatively small thing conceptually - no vast, epic story arc or anything - but there are enough moving parts to balance and challenges to address that it feels like something I can sink my teeth into. I also have a good 85-100 short paragraphs of dialogue to write before the end of Sunday, so that should keep me busy.
Also, the rest of my photos from the trip are up here, along with a few I've taken since:
