If there is at least one person in your life whom you consider a close friend, and whom you would not have met without the internet, post this sentence in your journal.

I think "at least" doesn't cover it. Of course, there are pros and cons - if I do get to travel I'll have people to visit in many a far-flung corner of the Earth (despite it being an oblate spheroid and not really having corners per se). On the other hand, for right now, they're far too far away to hug when I want to. Teleporters would be nice.
