I am now posting from my father's computer, having come back from the hospital and rested a bit. I have no wisdom teeth now (I didn't get to keep them for show, because they broke them to get them out), and stitches and stuff in my mouth. Local's worn off, and I can feel a bit of a dull ache. It does hurt a little when I swallow, but I was prepared for much worse. Some swelling in the cheeks, but then both flesh and muscle there was a bit abused, after all. Still, it's over and done now.

I can still remember little bits of the operation, but it's much like a dream-remembrance. I was fairly lucid straight off the chair, and able to walk to the car and so forth without any problems, despite still feeling just a little bit floaty.

With any luck (and my bloodymindedness to get on with my life), recovery should be pretty swift and I'll be back to full strength within a few days. It'll be lots of soft food for the next little while, though.

i had all mine out last year i got knocked out for mine...i woke up and spat blood and slept in it for a couple of hours and then i was ok...the stiches will get annoying

Beware of rice, and soup with things like beans. It is infuriating trying to get things like that out of the holes :S

Yeah - called 10am or so yesterday, for a 3:30pm appointment. After a heck of a lot of waiting, it was over blindingly fast.

(Also, my parents rock for looking after me overnight, amongst the other things they rock for.)
