*toothless grin*
Mar. 28th, 2006 09:22 pmI am now posting from my father's computer, having come back from the hospital and rested a bit. I have no wisdom teeth now (I didn't get to keep them for show, because they broke them to get them out), and stitches and stuff in my mouth. Local's worn off, and I can feel a bit of a dull ache. It does hurt a little when I swallow, but I was prepared for much worse. Some swelling in the cheeks, but then both flesh and muscle there was a bit abused, after all. Still, it's over and done now.
I can still remember little bits of the operation, but it's much like a dream-remembrance. I was fairly lucid straight off the chair, and able to walk to the car and so forth without any problems, despite still feeling just a little bit floaty.
With any luck (and my bloodymindedness to get on with my life), recovery should be pretty swift and I'll be back to full strength within a few days. It'll be lots of soft food for the next little while, though.
