Snapshot of an Evening.
The city is wrapped in the cool embrace of fog. Supermarket bags in hand, I arrive at the bus stop at the same time as a young woman. She has poetry written on her black portfolio case - written in white-out, and I am briefly amused by the thought of verse written in a substance designed to conceal words.
I look idly through the music in the pocket of my hoodie, and surreptitiously peek at her prose. Some of it is written in Japanese. I have enough Japanese to recognise the words: "look" and "speak!" - which one does not often do, when one is waiting at a bus stop with a stranger late at night. Some of the poetry is quite good, and I consider starting a conversation...
...but then two vehicles pull up, and we're on different buses.

(at which time she probably would have decided to catch a bus from a different stop in future, where she would end up striking up conversation with another portfolio-ed type who turned out to be the man of her dreams)
I like your story better.

Suit Hire
Apparently we need to get together sometime before the wedding and organise what we're wearing at a suit hire place like Munns? Or something?
Anyway, you know the number... ^_^
And personally, life doesn't have missed opportunities, just different paths that we all take. The view is equally good from all of them because we are alive.

Life's full of missed opportunities, including appreciation for what you *do* have.

What I do have is several kinds of nifty. Busy as hell, but generally with good things and people :-)
