Dear Lazyweb,
Aug. 5th, 2006 06:50 pmI seem to be getting a lot of this recently with ICQ-Lite, even more so since upgrading to the very newest version (which it forced me to do, because they've gone and changed the protocol again or something):

The help page in question suggests that I should shut ICQ down and restart it. The thing is, this happens stupidly, stupidly often. Sometimes I don't get messages, either - and I don't know that I'm not getting them.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, any thoughts on how to fix it? (Other than using another program to emulate ICQ; I've had little joy with them, too.)

Date: 2006-08-05 04:25 pm (UTC)Either get the full (but still free) version of ICQ, or, get something like Trillian that incorporates all that and may even fix the problem with your ICQ.
