Apr. 15th, 2007 11:01 pmGaming tonight was fun: roleplaying a character who didn't realise he was a traitor, because he believed some people when they said they weren't the enemy. Somehow he even managed to survive the night with an exile rather than being killed outright. Other people enjoyed the performance, and it's helped the story a long a fair bit, so it's all good. I'll jus haff to shake the habit to tork like I'm from Souf Auckland, eh cuz ;-)
Kurt Vonnegut's dead. That sucks, but he spent a lot of his life being awesome, so it's not really a waste as such. In just over a year I'll be 30 - an age at which Vonnegut's writing career was just starting to take off. It's enough to make me wonder what achievements I'll have made and what wonders I'll have seen by the time I reach 84, assuming I last that long. If it goes so for me, then I shan't be too unhappy.

Date: 2007-04-15 02:29 pm (UTC)I have to say, I'm a dedicated larper myself. Especially the Auckland One World By Night game (V:TM). Things have just gotten a WHOLE lot more interesting there. Mmmm, secret revelations, espionage, serious diplomatic incidents, threat on interclan war (well, cold war not killing people war). So delicious!
