*toothy grin*
Mar. 28th, 2006 11:50 amLooks like everything is just plain falling into place for me at the moment. I got a phonecall this morning from the Dental Oral Health Centre: apparently someone who was getting the same procedure done as I was waiting for has cancelled, so now I get my teeth out at 3:30pm today. Which means that I have around an hour or so before I go nil-per-mouth.
Operation's scheduled to take about an hour or so. It's under IV sedation, so my parents will be picking me up afterwards, and coping with the wooziness and so forth. In all likelihood there will be some swelling and recovery healingness and so forth afterwards, but at least it'll be done, out, and sorted. Yay.
Right. Phonecall just came in confirming the op. Everything's go.
(Heh, the song title is ironic, no?)

Date: 2006-03-31 01:28 pm (UTC)They took mine out under local and IV sedation. Remarkably little blood, in the circumstances.
Glad we won't have to go through that again.
